until they came home with these. . .
Our new jackets for camping.
So today they made up for it by baking us some treats.
This was a big deal because the Duchess does not cook,
and the Duke decided to "help".
I hope the oven was hot enough to kill those "germs"!
But I must say, the kitchen sure did smell good!
We all waited patiently.

It plugs into her computer and magically copies her old records into iTunes.
How cool is that?
Then when we go camping we can take all the oldies with us!
However, it is going to be a very long process.

Look at those handsome looking cover ups! Were those dog treats they were baking..I have a recipe for something similar. I must do that for Chance one day soon. I am in awe of your LP collection..massive..but it will be worth it when you get all those songs recorded! Lots of things have been happening at your house!! Chance sends kisses! :)
ReplyDeleteoh that is a neat gadget! what a great idea--it is true that all the old songs on the other side are rare gems. you grow up listening to them and want to have them with you. plus the sound quality and the cracking is so authenic with records. love it. nice jackets guys! we love to camp! can't wait to see where you go this summer!
ReplyDeleteThat is one cool gadget! Mom says Grandpa would like one of those. He has a lot of vinyl, too, as well as eight tracks!
ReplyDeleteI think your coats look very stylish and warm! I'm glad they baked you cookies, though. Cookies make up for everything!
Bunny
Your new jackets are beautiful. I am sure you will appreciate them more once you are out camping.

ReplyDeletebye bye,Lean have fun with the music stuff!!!!
Woof! Woof! I just LOVE LOVE your cookie jar. What a lovely treat you were given there ... Jacket n Delish Cookies. WOWY on the record collections. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteWe don't blame you for not wanting to wear those jackets, but if it means you get to go camping, then just appease them. Treats look furry yummy. The Momster is wondering if it takes a really long time to transfer the vinyls to the CDs - she has been tempted to get one of those fancy machines too.
ReplyDeleteWoos, Phantom and Thunder
Have no fear, my sweet ER. You have my heart.
ReplyDeleteThat's my "aunt" CaƱa playing with me in the snow. She's an older woman! This is a big development since she couldn't stand me as a puppy. Now I am the only dog she deigns to play with. All the others think she's a big grouch, but I know better and bring out her joy.
Mmmmm.....those cookies look scrumptious.
Ms. Alpha wants to know if your USB record converter is as great as it seems. She WANTS one real bad!
Yours always,

Hi Friends! About the USB turntable. It is awesome. It works very well and is easy enough for the Duchess to use. (Seriously easy). It does take time. First you play the song, then it saves the song, then it transfers the song. Oh yeah, and you have to name the song and artist if it doesn't recognize it. You would be amazed at how many songs it DOES recognize! The Duchess has not figured out how to do an entire album at one time. There should be a way but the Duchess is not the sharpest crayon in the box, if you know what I mean :)
ReplyDeleteThis turntable came from Costco by the way. And the Duchess ask me to tell you she was worried about the "noise" on the old records. But when she started listening to them she loved them - noise and all! It was just like being a kid again :) (I told you, she is not the brightest crayon . . . )
Kisses!!
Emma Rose
I love your new jackets on all of you! Very sporty looking!!! The cookies look great too!! I'm definitely not a very sharp crayon at all when it comes to computer stuff but that new gadget sounds wonderful if it's easy!! I have hundreds of very old albums that I would love to be on iTunes! Thanks for the information and enjoy your cookies! Love, Debbie and Holly
ReplyDeleteSophie has a coat like that for our cold winter days...and she loves it about as much as yours do!! :) Great photos!!!
ReplyDeleteEva really admired your beautiful jackets and also asked whether she could have some of your yummy cookies. She's drooling now!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your jackets! Mom bought us backpacks for hiking but we hate them. Our legs stop working when they are on our backs. Weirdest thing... :)
