We've Been Hibernating

What's been going on around here?  Absolutely nothing!  The grey winter skies and the rain, rain, rain, have "dampened" my social life to say the least.  The Duchess is not taking any pictures because the indoor lighting is so poor.  She is still being furloughed one week every month so there is no money for an external flash for her camera.

But. . . Last night we ordered the seeds for our big vegetable garden and you know what that means? That's right,  Spring is coming. And hopefully the rain will GO AWAY.  My Duchess wants to sell the castle and move to a kingdom that has less rain and more snow.  WHAT?  Sell my castle?  Good luck!  (Actually, I'm not worried.  I watch the news and I know for sure she would never be able to sell the castle right now.  Maybe in TEN YEARS!  Ha! )

Sir Bear is still hanging around.  He doesn't mind the "sleeping all day" stuff as long as he gets food and water.  Still lot's of water.  Mister Higgins is still bugging me sometimes, but most of the time we chase each other through the house castle.

We are having a problem with Blogger too.  Somehow we lost my profile picture and we can't figure out how to get it back.  We tried changing the picture but that didn't help.  So, if you think we are not following you anymore it's just not so!  We are there, way down in the faceless followers :(
If you know of any fix for this problem we would surely be grateful.

I guess that's all for now.  Higgins wants to race me in the hallway so I need to sign off :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Kisses,

  1. Why doesn't your mum try using the marco setting on her camera to take photos of you indoors - works on my point and shoot! (You need to be very still, though - can you manage that?)

Hope your Blogger problems get resolved soon!

  2. Emma Rose how nice to see your pretty face again, it is so grey here too when there are no pictures of you to look at. I just love the one of you half asleep on the bed. Well I don't blame you for not venturing out so much because I know it isn't nice when you come back in and get in to trouble for making a mess - its not your fault is it.

  4. We have been trying to change our profile photo forever and just can't make it work either.

We are glad that we have snow and not rain, but the Momster is anxious for Spring here too.

    So good to see you.

  5. It's so nice to see your beautiful face. It's very cold and grey here too which has tampened the moods of most people. The weather is so cold and wet...no snow though. Just sleet and rain mostly. We spend a lot of the time in the dark too. Mom hates to take pictures in the house and the ones outside are usually the same over and over. No trips out in the car or on foot either. Sell your castle? Never!! You'll love it again come spring! We have no idea how to change the photo picture. We need to but have no idea how to do it! Lots of love, Holly and mom

  10. Boy, you look dog tired in that first photo. Rain and darkness can do that to a dog, even a Royal dog.
Emma, don't dis your new digs until you see em. They might be fit for a Queen. Happy Castle hunting.

  13. It IS good to see your beautiful face again! Sounds like your mom figured out how to safeguard the kibble, so the housebound days are less lively now. Just figure you're storing up boundless energy for when Spring finally comes.

  14. Hey there Emma Rose...
I know all about that 'unsociability' thing...especially when it's dark and gloomy outside. If you want an alternative place to set up your castle...South AFrica ? mmmm....:)
It's so nice to see you again. We love you!

  15. We are so happy to see you again, Emma. You still look beautiful and regal.
I know how you feel when it is dark, cold and wet outside, all fun comes to a halt. However, as you saw the seeds at home which means spring is back soon!
I guess your mom wants to get you a much bigger castle!

  18. Oh, Emma, I long for spring! It snowed again today and I am having trouble doing my business with dignity! It is hard to keep my head above the snow. I will be happy when Gramma starts to play in the dirt again!

  19. Hi Emma,
Yeah, it's cold here too, but we have had some sun peeking through here and there, maybe you will get some sun puddles to lie in, they always cheer me up!
