Where’s the Beef?

 

The Duchess bought some good treats at the feed store today!

 

I can almost taste it already. . . 

 Oh yummy, yum, yum!

 

 Even Sir Bear loved it.  Well, I guess that’s not saying much because he will eat anything.

Absolutely anything!

We are trying a new picture size again.  This one is large instead of “original size”.  We’ll see how this works. 

One of these days we will get it all figured out!

Hopefully this will solve our problem with our pictures.

A Little Snow For Leap Year

We had a bit of snow.  

Not enough to play in, but enough to make us smile.

I went outside to check the girls

and the snow was nowhere to be found. 

I finally found a bit in the garden.

Higgins should have been named Pig Pen.

See how dirty he is?

There's my girls.

Looks like they're having a pow wow.

You know I'm kidding - chickens don't have pow wow's!

The Duchess says it's time to get the greenhouse set up.

Eight weeks till last frost - Let's get those seeds planted!

But first maybe I should check for any 

winter berries :)

Nope.  Nothing there.

I better get out of here quick, before I get caught.

The girls love to get out of their pen.

We like it too because they leave tasty stuff for us!

Higgins truly believes the chickens are his responsibility.

He likes to round them up and keep them together.

Did you know chickens drink from mud puddles?

GROSS!!!

They don't mind the mud at all.

And after all the fun I had in the winter weather

I had to go to the Beauty Parlor.

Now I'm softer than a baby rabbit.  That's soft!

We have taken your advice and have switched to Google Chrome.  So far , so good!  We also have a new battery for the camera - FINALLY!!!! Hopefully we will be taking pictures again soon.  We are having quite a rain storm here, so there isn't much chance of getting outside.  But the Duchess is on furlough next week so maybe we'll get lucky and have a break in the rain.

We Are Distraught!

What has happened to Blogger?  First we lost the ability to click on a picture to enlarge it, and now we cannot comment on any blogs.  What is a Queen to do?????  Does anybody else have these problems????
Whenever we try to comment our computer locks up.  The Duchess tried it at work and the same thing happened.  And it happens with almost every blog - even mine!  I am soooooooo unhappy :(
