Just Checking In

It's been awhile since I posted, so I thought I should check in and let you know what I've been up to.  We have not had any more fun trips in the RV, but we are going again in a couple of weeks.

The Duke and Duchess have been working in the yard.  We had to have a tree cut down because it was leaning so bad.  Next weekend we are going to get the stump and  roots out with a big machine.  The manly Duke loves big machines!I'll take pictures for you :)

In the meantime, I am keeping the troops in line.
And taking time to smell the flowers along the way!

Sometimes Higgins smells the flowers too - but not often.
He's way too busy with his ball!

When the weather is good we do a lot of chasing around.  I ALMOST got a rabbit a few days ago....The Duchess was not happy with me.  She says it's not nice to kill bunnies.  How does she know I was going to kill it?  Maybe I just wanted to play.  I'm not telling!

Sir Bear is slowing down.  He sleeps most of the time, but he still loves food so we know he's okay.

And Monster Mister Higgins is the same as always. He is so spoiled he thinks he is the Duchesses favorite. WRONG!  (I am the favorite around this castle!)
Silly puppy, he'll learn eventually.

Thanks for stopping by!

Kisses,

  2. Hi Emma Rose, It was good to see you post again! Poor Sir Bear sleeping all the time..but at least if he is eating and sleeping your Duchess knows his is just feeling his age and not sick or anything.
Bunnies are not tasty..we have had a Bobcat and a Fox that think they are tasty..so we don't have bunnies all over the yard like normal.
Your photo with the peony is just beautiful..and Mister Higgens in the Bergenia is pretty good too! :) Kisses from Chance!

  3. Your roses are beautiful, and so is that picture of them and Emma Rose! Sir Bear sure looks like a sweetie, and he reminds me so much of our black lab, Brandy, who passed away three years ago at the age of 15. Oh, I see that someone else called your lovely flowers peonies. I'm not good at determining flowers like that. Whatever they are, their color is so vivid. Good to hear from you - best wishes to Emma Rose, Mr. Higgins, and Sir Bear!!

  23. Hey Emma Rose!
My mom has also been hanging out in the yard digging in the dirt with me a lot more now that the weather has warmed.
Tell your Duchess that be it a rabbit, squirrel or a cat... if it runs you just got to chase it! No ifs ands or buts!!!
P.S. I Love to smell the flowers too but I also still love my balls. Maybe it's a guy thing?
